The Weather...unpredictable: Hottest night on record in over 100 years!

I thought Georgia weather was unpredictable. Our weather man misses things by days and the weather will change drastically from week to week. Well, sorry Georgia, your weather is manic but Melbourne tops my list for wacky weather. There is a saying here that one can experience all four seasons in a day (not always in the right order). It's the truth.

If I were a Meteorologist here I would definitely have some sort of inadequacy complex. Thus far, I have experienced mid-nineties weather during the day morphing into low sixties in a few hours, sun still high in the sky, almost no difference in cloud clover, only a change in the temperature. It will go from being a scorcher to near freezing and hailing. Clearly, the days do not always follow the pattern of warm in the day and cooler at night. Occasionally, the temperature will drop a few degrees at nightfall and then rises at 2am, staying hot for the rest of the day. One night, in particular, brings on all this talk of weather. After a blisteringly hot day of 108F, the hottest day I have ever experienced, this night, in a non air-conditioned apartment (BTW, it is common across the country), was the hottest night on record in the city of Melbourne in over 100 years. We dropped to 32.3C, 90.14F, and never went any lower! It was soo hot when I got up and started riding at 5:30am. It wasn’t until I got back, around 10am, that the temperature started to drop and become pleasant. Just wanted to note, the weather is not what you think.
